The babyballet® production ‘Twinkle & Teddy’s Big Day Out’ is a fun, exciting and enjoyable introduction to the wonderful world of dance, performance and theatre. The show brings all of the much-loved babyballet® characters to life, creating a magical experience for both the children and their families. With a variety of colourful themed sections, the children have the opportunity to express themselves, build confidence and enjoy performing in a relaxed and supportive environment. Most importantly, Twinkle & Teddy’s Big Day Out is all about having fun, making special memories and celebrating everything the children have learned in their babyballet® classes.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Registration is only open to children enrolled in our Movers (3 & 4 years) and Groovers (4 ½ – 6 years) classes.
  • Your child must be fully enrolled at babyballet® Remuera, Epsom, Greenhithe, Wairau Valley, Grey Lynn or Orewa to participate in the show.
  • Children participating in the show will be required to have their own pair of plain pink ballet shoes, available in our online shop.
  • Your child will be required to attend a costume fitting approximately 4 weeks prior to the show. Further details to come.
  • Show dances are taught and learn’t during your child’s regular weekly class. There are no extra classes or rehearsals needed for your child.
  • On show day you will be checking your child in at the backstage door. They will then be in the very caring hands of our babyballet teachers and backstage chaperones. Parents & Carers will not be allowed backstage.
  • Show registration closes on Sunday the 23rd of August 2026. There are limited spaces available, so please don’t wait too long!

SHOW REGISTRATION FEE

The show fee is required for your child to participate in this magical and truly memorable event. We do everything we can to keep this fee to an absolute minimum but please know that our babyballet shows have been produced to a very high level in the UK and we are very excited to have the rights to produce them here in New Zealand. To give you a sneak preview into what you can expect from show day, we invite you to watch the highlights video of the ‘Twinkle’s Dream’ show that was performed a couple of years ago by our babyballet® stars.

REGISTRATION FEE: $89 PER CHILD* INCLUDES:

  • Hire of a beautiful show costume for your little star to wear on stage
  • A souvenir babyballet® character show T-shirt
  • A professionally filmed show video (digital download)
  • Live stage photos. This will include a selection of group photos of the children performing on stage (digital downloads)**
  • A keepsake show programme
  • Performance socks to keep
  • A special show participation certificate

Please note that audience tickets are not included in the registration fee and will need to be purchased separately.

* The show registration closes on Sunday the 23rd of August 2026. Once paid the show fee is NON refundable, even if you decide your child is not going to take part, as costumes & show t-shirts, etc. have to be pre-ordered in advance.

SHOW TICKETS

  • Theatre tickets will go on sale from Monday the 28th of September 2026
  • Tickets will be available for purchase on www.iticket.co.nz
  • Your child will not need a ticket as they will be backstage during the entire show

PHOTOGRAPHY

We have arranged the wonderful Belinda Coles to photograph this magical event. She will be backstage taking posed photos of your child in their beautiful costume. You will have an opportunity to purchase the photos from her via an online gallery which will be emailed to you after the show.

** By registering your child, you understand and agree that:

1. Your child’s full name will be in the show program
2. babyballet® show photographs will be taken of your child
3. A babyballet® show video will be taken of your child
4. Your child’s image may be used in a babyballet® show press release to both local media and international media
5. Your child’s image may be used in a babyballet® promotional video for international online promotion and marketing including social media
