Hi! I’m Miss Courtney, and I’m delighted to bring the magic of babyballet® dance classes to children in Hamilton and Cambridge. Our classes are delivered in association with Drury Lane Dance & Performance one of Waikato’s most established and respected dance schools.

The trial is the perfect introduction to babyballet®, giving you and your child the chance to try out our ballet classes before signing up. The trial can start at anytime during the year, where spaces are available. Following the trial, our fees are $15/class for babyballet® Tots, $17/class for babyballet®Tinies, and $20/class for babyballet® Movers & Groovers (including Tappers). We charge our class fees on a monthly basis using direct debit. The total monthly fee is based on the actual number of scheduled classes in that month, this can be different per month due to public holidays and/or the amount of weeks per month.

more about our babyballet® dance classes

Our babyballet® preschool dance program offers four stages of ballet classes, for young children aged 6 months to 6 years, plus a tap dancing class for children over 3 years.

Me and my team of babyballet® dance teachers teach lots of little babyballet® stars each week, and strive to create a fun, friendly and inclusive experience for everyone – no matter what your child’s age or ability. Not to mention, our classes are a great way for parents, carers and guardians to meet up and make new friends too!

We run babyballet® classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school starters alike at the Drury Lane Dance Studio in Hamilton and at the Cambridge Town Hall in Cambridge. So if you live in the area, please take a look at our timetable – which is quick and easy to use – and see if you can find a suitable day and time for you and your little one.

Which babyballet class should l book

Our preschool dance syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure each child is taught the principles of ballet and tap at the right developmental level while boosting confidence, and of course having lots of fun.

Our program fits well within the UK Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, with our classes providing the opportunity for babies and young children to learn and develop key life skills in a healthy and safe environment.

When signing your child up for a three-week trial, you will need to ensure they are within the age parameters outlined for each stage. If in doubt, please start in the lower age group to begin with as your teacher will liaise with you should your child need to move up a stage.

After registering, you will be sent an automated enrolment email and after we found a free spot in your class of choice we will send you a confirmation email full of information that will let you know what to expect and the start date. Please double check your junk or spam folder if you haven’t received our email(s)!

What to wear to class

At babyballet, our uniform is not compulsory, but we do have a beautiful bespoke uniform range for our little stars that can be browsed on our online shop.

For your 3-week trial, please put your child in something comfortable that allows them to move freely. They will be required to dance in either ballet shoes or bare feet.
